God has someone better??? I’m sorry but I am pretty sure that God is very clear when it comes to marriage. He hates divorce. Moses allowed it because of the hardness of their hearts. I am not saying that God doesn’t want us to have a happy healthy marriage, but what is his ultimate goal? Read 1Cor 13:4-7. Why does it say that love suffereth long, love bears all things, edures all things? Why should love suffer or bear or endure all things? Maybe he wants to build character in us.
Hi Nam, I think you missunderstood what I was saying in my video. I do agree with you. I am saying that if your spouse leaves you and doesn’t want you, that God has someone better out there for you. I am not saying to throw in the towel. I do believe though that if someone is abusive we don’t need to take it. It is not safe or healthy.
If you believe (which I also believe) that God is in the miracle working business why get someone else? A true miracle would be to see that abusive husband completely change by the power of God. That would be a true testimony of God’s power.
Hi Lumel, Of course! I agree with you. That is also why I believe strongly in deliverance. True miracles like you mention can and do happen. But not always. Some people do not want help. And would rather beat up, cheat on, and hurt their loved one. God can change them, but also they must seek change and because we have choice, some choose not to obey as well as ignore the Lord and His remedies and commands.
